Sanitation & Hygiene Awareness Programme

At the Stree Welfare Foundation, we understand that sanitation and hygiene are essential for maintaining good health and preventing the spread of diseases. Therefore, our Sanitation & Hygiene Awareness program aims to promote and educate our community on the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

Our program focuses on providing education on personal hygiene, sanitation practices, and waste management. We conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and community meetings to promote the importance of good hygiene practices like hand washing, clean water supply, and proper waste disposal.

Through our program, we aim to create a culture of cleanliness and hygiene in our community. We believe that this will not only lead to better health outcomes but also improve the overall quality of life of our community members.

Furthermore, we also understand that access to clean and safe toilet facilities is essential for maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene. Therefore, we work towards constructing and maintaining toilets in underprivileged areas to improve access to safe and clean toilet facilities.

In addition, our program also emphasizes the importance of menstrual hygiene management, providing education and access to hygiene products to girls and women. We believe that empowering women with knowledge and access to these services can lead to better health outcomes for both women and their families.

Overall, our Sanitation & Hygiene Awareness program is an integral part of our work at the Stree Welfare Foundation. We believe that by promoting and educating our community on proper sanitation and hygiene practices, we can create a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable community.
